ADMISSION Soundtrack by Stephen Trask Released

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Album for Paul Weitz comedy ADMISSION with Tina Fey and Paul Rudd is now being released digitally by Back Lot Music. The album includes 11 new cues from Stephen Trask (who previously created music for the rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the drama The Savages, among others). This marks the fifth collaboration between director Paul Weitz and composer Stephen Trask. "This was a fun collaboration with Paul Weitz," Trask relates, "because it felt like picking up the thread of a creative conversation we started with In Good Company, and bringing to it new skills and knowledge. I was particularly pleased with the extensive use of vocals, which started with me singing a melody into my iPhone, and was encouraged by Paul to pick up on the theme of collegiate vocal groups. We ended up with all manner of singing, from simple indie rock back-ups to Association-style a cappella to The Beach Boys to Bambi in the woods."
