Buzzsugar at WonderCon: Hanna, "elegant...except when she's kicking ass"

Reporting in from WonderCon for Buzzsugar, Lauren Bradshaw (in her post “WonderCon 2011: Hanna Is an "Elegant" Action Heroine”) highlights how popular director Joe Wright and his star Saoirse Ronan were with the fanboys at this San Francisco event. Sure everyone was up for seeing the latest bone-crunching, muscle-rippling super guy, but they were also there to hear about the girls. Bradshaw highlights the ways in which the Hanna panel talked about the need for heroines. Among the many interesting comments was Ronan’s notes on her own character:

She is weird, and I think Hanna as an action heroine — if that's what you want to call her — is quite elegant in her temperament and behavior except when she's kicking ass. I think we haven't seen an action heroine like this yet.
