For a while now, OK! magazine has been running their Online Book Club. The idea is to get members to read a book which has been adapted into a forthcoming movie, discuss it online as they're reading, and then compare the book with the film once it has come out.

Recently, members were given the choice between reading Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan (on which Ben Affleck's The Town is based), Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go, or Ned Vizzini's It's Kind of a Funny Story, and the book they opted for was Vizzini's young adult novel.

Here are the details from OK!'s website on what's going down:

Every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET, starting Sept. 6, we’ll be live-blogging our book club up until the Sept. 27 release of the It’s Kind of a Funny Story film starring Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts, Lauren Graham, Viola Davis, Zoë Kravitz, Daniel London and Keir Gilchrist. Read the book with OK! before you see the movie and then join us back on Sept. 27 to discuss which one you liked best!
