Jane Eyre Apartment Therapy: looking for a gothic estate with lots of attic room?

The Interior Design Site Apartment Therapy gets into a Jane Eyre kind of mood with a special slideshow of “Interiors form the Set of Jane Eyre.” Actually most of the images are from Haddon Hall, the famous estate that doubles for Thornfield Hall in the film. It’s great to see the images in desgin context, because you notice how truly lovely the spaces are. As Apartment Therapy quips about the bedroom: “A four-poster bed against a wall of tapestries in this dreamy bedroom — though what horrors come at night?” Indeed!
