Over at UGO, there's a ton of coverage of the unveiling of Hanna at the New York Comic-Con this past weekend. Reporter Matt Patches gives his lowdown on the two clips from the movie that were screened, and also has a multi-part interview with Hanna's director Joe Wright, in which he talks about the Lynchian vibe of the film, Hanna's dark comic tone, what it was like shooting the action sequences, and reteaming with actress Saoirse Ronan, who plays the eponymous young assassin.

Here's what he had to say about Ronan, who received an Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her performance as Briony in Wright's Atonement:

Joe Wright: Saoirse and I get along really well, we have a lot of fun. We both respect each other, I certainly respect her, and she has a kind of extraordinary openness. The way she watches the world...it's like you see the world through her eyes by watching her face. The character's kind of like that, really. You want to see the world through her eyes. It's an amazing performance, I think, and I can say that because I can't take too much credit for it.And also, a really beautiful character as well. A very empowering character for young women. I think it's important that there are these strong characters for young woman, that aren't all about lip gloss and bullsh*t.
