New York Magazine Tells Mike Mills' "History of Love"

New York Magazine's arts blog "Vulture" is hosting a special animated film from Mike Mills called the "History of Love." Mills sets up the video explaining that the original drawings came from his film Beginners when the main character Oliver (Ewan McGregor) created a set of potential album drawings for a band called The Sads. Mills explains, "I was lucky enough to put them all in this book, and then I felt like I still had drawings in me, so I started doing a 'History of Love.'
