Oscar Noms for ANNA KARENINA, MOONRISE KINGDOM & PARANORMAN

Nominations for the 85th Academy Awards were announced this morning and we are thrilled that the following Focus films have been recognized. PARANORMAN was nominated for Animated Feature Film for Sam Fell and Chris Butler. MOONRISE KINGDOM for Writing, Original Screenplay (Wes Anderson & Roman Coppola). And ANNA KARENINA goes home with four nominations: Cinematography (Seamus McCarvey); Costume Design (Jacqueline Durran); Production Design (Sarah Greenwood/ production design, Katie Spencer/set decoration); and Original Score (Dario Marianelli). Congratulations to all. The winners will be announced during the Oscar ceremony on February 24, 2013, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
