Pitchfork Up with MOONRISE KINGDOM Soundtrack
Evan Minsker over at Pitchfork is pointing out excitedly the MOONRISE KINGDOM's upcoming soundtrack. Indeed Minsker notes, "A new Wes Anderson film almost always means three things: Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, and a solid soundtrack. And yes, all three of those things are true about MOONRISE KINGDOM, Anderson's latest film." Minkser notes the Soundtrack is out on May 22 -- although available for pre-order now on Amazon -- as well as provides a tracklist which includes a brilliant eclectic mix of Hank Williams, Françoise Hardy, Leonard Bernstein, and Benjamin Britten. Also Pitchfork offers a listen of Alexandre Desplat's track from the film, "The Heroic Weather-Conditions of the Universe, Part 1: A Veiled Mist."
