Seven NAACP Image Awards for PARIAH
The NAACP Image Awards announced the nominees for the 43rd Image Awards, and PARIAH was recognized with a whooping seven nominations. Here they are: (1) Outstanding Motion Picture; (2) Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture (Adepero Oduye); (3) Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture (Charles Parnell); (4) Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture (Kim Wayans); (5) Outstanding Independent Motion Picture; (6) Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture - Theatrical or Television (Dee Rees); Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture - Theatrical or Television (Dee Rees). The 43rd Image Awards will be broadcast live on Feb 17 during a two-hour telecast on NBC.
