The American comes to DVD, On-Demand and More on December 28

Anton Corbijn’s international thriller, which Roger Ebert gave his highest grade of four stars, comes out on Blu-Ray™, Dvd, Digital Download And On-Demand on December 28, 2010. In the film, Clooney plays a professional gun maker and occasional killer who escapes to a rugged Italian mountainside village, hoping he can escape destiny by doing one last job. Clooney is joined by a sexy European cast that includes Violante Placido and Thekla Reute. The DVD extras include deleted scenes, feature commentary from Anton Corbijn and best of all a nearly half hour featurette “Journey To Redemption: The Making Of The American.”
